Actually the initial polio vaccine developed by Jonas Salk was withdrawn because it was paralyzing many of those it “inoculated.” It also introduced millions of baby-boomers to the SV-40 virus which is now linked to today’s soft tissue cancer epidemic. What’s most concerning about this virus is the staggering rate of contagion. It is highly, highly contagious. Another big concern is the incubation period. Is it 14 days or 27 days?
