Annihilation is the first of a series of books (maybe trilogy) so sequels are possible but probably unlikely. I read it a couple of years ago and thought it was pretty good. Very Lovecraftian atmosphere, e.g., impending sense of dread, unknown monstrously large forces hanging about the periphery but never completely coming into view or coming into view but being indescribably horrible.
I do enjoy a good time of Sven movie takes. Itll be a nice little end of the month treat.

The shows with you Borzoi and McNabb ironically always end up very interesting and much less shitposty than those with Mike (i say ironically because its not Mike who does the shitposting lol) so I’m looking forward to it!
Correct the record on Titan!! I saw Annihilation. It’s actually a good film to dissect because there is some stuff to talk about and not a lot of people have seen it. It’s fresh territory. I had a ho-hum reaction myself. It does have Sven’s favorite actor, Oscar Isaac.

I’ve seen Annihilation. As far as i can remember, it was like a f******y version of Stalker. Also it’s quite depressing watching Natalie Portman, as she ages she looks more and more jewish. She’s literally turning into a demon before your eyes.
Sad to say, Uncle Vader fell for her stolen Mediterranean genes.

The only good thing in Annihilation was the bear and the song at the end. The effects were distracting. Natalie Portman’s acting is weak. Her connection to Oscar Isaac is weak. The strong wahmen angle isn’t believable. The blocking and cinemetography is really static; Ex Machina, a movie from 4 years earlier was a better effort.
Yeah. Although I liked the effects. The bear scene was awesome. Ending was cool. Plus it was pretty much Lovecraft’s The Color Out Of Space, which was cool.
