I don’t know about you guys, but Christmas has lost almost all it’s magic and importance as I’ve gotten older. I don’t watch Christmas movies or music anymore. It just doesn’t mean anything to me anymore. I most enjoy seeing my family and giving the kids in my family gifts.

It’s even better when your kids are buying gifts for each other. Very heart warming to be a part of… love, friendship, laughs…
Like all holidays for children, we are meant to make it good for them.
As fake and gay as everything is, it’s still not lost its magic for me. It may have something to do with family traditions or just what you make of it in your own way, but for me it’s one of the few good things left and I’ll do everything I can to ensure that never changes.

I’m old enough to remember before the malls, before china trinkets, I remember my elementary school having Christmas assemblies when we sang Christian carols and celebrated the birth of Christ unashamedly. back in the mid 1960’s.
