Death Note was the only anime I was able to watch all the way through to the end. I’ve tried 4 or 5 others and I shut it down after a few episodes.
I managed to make it through Evangelion years ago, I guess bc I was still consuming content. No way I could sit through that again.
Mike’s exactly right about Amine. It’s just content; something to watch while sitting on a confy chair with ur brain turned off, eating a bag of delicious goy-feed.
But… content w/o subversive anti white fake/gay stuff. There’s even good Germans in it bc Japanese are not holocoost brainwashed. Yet.

Mike, you can’t watch anime for children and then complain about how childish it is. That being said, even literal Japanese children’s cartoons are way better than Jewish children’s cartoons.
To escape the expanding hell of NYC and Albany you should consider relocating to North Carolina. It’s very nice here. Just ask a mutual friend of ours.

There Will Be Blood is based on an Upton Sinclair novel called “Oil!”. The McCarthy novel you’re probably thinking of is No Country For Old Men, which is a pretty pro-huwhyte story in a lot of ways.
Saying all anime is the same and all features a deus ex machina plot device is tantamount to saying every single live action show produced in the west is the same. There’s more to anime than DBZ, Legends of The Galactic Heroes and EVA, mike. The kind of anime you reference is always within a small niche. There’s a gorillion anime shows and to paint them all with such a broad brush is just intellectually lazy.
I’d much rather hear about anime than any movie/tv product. Had to tap out the last week of shows due to Star Trek content. Btw, Evangelion is a bad anime to start off with. Sven, you should try something different. My rule on anime is to not stop watching until after episode 6, halfway through the first season, bc it usually doesn’t get good until then. You might like attack on titan then you might try others. Deathnote (NOT the movie) is a crowd pleaser and has a damn great plot.
About anime: Mushishi is the only series I’ve ever binge watched from start to finish. It’s content isn’t so much about the story, but instead about ambient feels mixed with nice music. Very soothing and calm. It’s about Ghostbusters in forest. The main gripe is that the writing could have benefited from a western guy to make people invest in the characters. Then it would have been a masterpiece.
NTrigger, I absolutely fucking love Mushishi. If I were trapped on a desert island and had to pick 10 anime to bring, it would be in my list. Amazing soundtrack, story and artwork. One can Netflix and chill with it. Also on my list would be both Hellsings and… Black Butler. (I know, but it’s a guilty pleasure.) Plot driven anime are the best.
