Mike and Sven missed a crucial detail on the death of Arthur’s mother. It was hinted at throughout the movie that his mother allowed him to be abused by various boyfriends. The implied relationship with Thomas Wayne she can be read as the mother being so mentally ill that she neglected her child. The film can be read as a commendation of single motherhood and the passing on of intergenerational issues. An allodial title has nothing to do with sovereign citizen stuff. A few states allow property owners to gain allodial title by making a one time payment of a certain number of years worth of property taxes. Once they get this title they don’t have to pay property taxes any more.
