I usually listen to episodes on my phone (while moving my ass outside or inside while on-the-clock), then half-watch the video — a day or so later — while gaming, with the video playing on a second monitor.

Regardless of whether video is part of this site, I will always maintain a paywall sub to TRS. It’s not amount videos or the money, it’s about sending a message to zog that I (and many others) aren’t going to up and disappear that easily.

I would probably end up paying for the cost increase even though I barely watch the videos. Also why don’t you have a pay tier system to begin with (probably because j*w accusations). The monthly content is worth $20+ a month for those who can afford it and many would gladly pay. Maybe mark the comments with a little gold star who have a higher tier to let people know in the comments who the real j*ws are.

To be honest, video isn’t much of a draw. I got a paywall to support you, and to get Strike/Mike and the call-in shows without begging on pol threads.
I’m going to be that guy and ask why you can’t host your own short videos on your own severs? I can’t believe your traffic is so unbelievably intense that you couldn’t do that.
mate, hosting video is horrendously expensive in this day and age.4chan has massive quota costs for being an image hosting site. Google et al get it for free as they just eat the costs from elsewhere – they actually loose money from owning youtube.
only way this could ever work is some p2p video bittorrent like system but that exposes the real IP address of those that use it and VPN providers would baulk if we tried to run BT via that.

In the event that there is an alt-right-friendly video-hosting platform in the future, or if YouTube gets a litigious shake-up from a further Right and free speech-receptive government (and populace), then you will have said content to provide at a later date. If you guys just record the audio, then you will have missed out on that potential future opportunity to share the visual experience with pre-existing or future fanbases.

Plenty of places release their video content on YouTube a week after they do it on their own site, don’t see why something like that but with a paywall would be a problem.
