I wonder if we can’t expect some hot content takes from TRS re: HBO’s Watchmen series (debut tonight). Despite Mike never consuming media content, we still got a relative trickle of takes from shows like Game of Thrones and even Netflix’s The Boys, not to mention the string of Star Wars show title riffs recently.
The 2009 Watchmen film was pretty good, I thought, but who knows how ‘woke’ or subversive any of this stuff from Hollywood is.

Actually, maybe TDS should cover the HBO Watchmen series, since it appears it will be a vehicle for demonizing whites, white males, nationalsim (the alt-right), etc. from a Globohomo/Antifascist perspective. Maybe the show will end up being more nuanced, but so far, status quo from the (((usual suspects))).
If I had to guess, I would hopefully assume Alan Moore leans more towards the right, but I could very well see him not being an ally. Anyways, I’m sure he wouldn’t have any real voice in a project like this (even if he was an ‘our guy’), since he probably wouldn’t own the rights to it as a brand (maybe I’m wrong there).

Being someone who’s skills and education are best fit for programming, the situation as a whole is pretty demoralizing. I’ve made the choice to make significantly less money not utilizing my skills because I have difficulty being in these “open minded” work environments. Thank God when I was in school it was the same schedule all year, I couldn’t handle that constant change.
My school did the this (millenialfag here). When they brought the new system in they said something about being able to fit more periods into one cycle if there were 6 days, so they could more evenly proportion which subjects were being taught. I couldn’t get over the fact it made more sense to have a 10 day cycle, making the timetable even more flexible and also staying in phase with the days of the week.
