RSS feed

The half-Japanese aristocrat, Count Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi, is notorious as a promoter of race-mixing and globalism. But was that all there is to the man? Was Kalergi just a foaming-at-the-mouth defender of multiculturalism and Jewish power? Greg Conte and William discuss the life and writings of this now nearly forgotten Japo-Austrian noble, who was one of the key players in the formation of today's European and World orders.

Since his childhood, Kalergi took an intense interest in languages and philosophy. In his mid-20s, he started a movement to form a united Europe, to be led by intellectuals, statesmen, artists and financiers. Backed by Warburg money, Paneuropa was the talk of the European elite in the inter-war years.

But then Kalergi's well-laid plans were frustrated by a man who, in his view, was no more than a low-born, uneducated, Alpine peasant. It wasn't until almost a decade later that the Count was able to link up with the likes of Winston Churchill and Charles de Gaulle and to--at last--turn Paneuropa into a reality.

Given his seeming importance, why is Kalergi so little talked about today? Why are most of his works untranslated? Was he a villainous genius, a Jewish puppet, or something else? Greg and William cover all this and more and conclude that the European Union might in fact be worse than Kalergi even intended!

Rome fell in the fifth century, and Europeans have spent the last millennium and a half trying to rebuild it. Charlemagne, the Holy Roman Empire, Byzantium, Napoleon, Hitler, the EU and many more looked to the Roman ideal.

Of what use today is this political history? Should a pro-White, Jew-free America-Europe form itself into a new empire? Or is would another political model fit better?

The first German Reich lasted for 1000 years. From Charlemagne to 1806, the Holy Roman Empire was the keystone of Europe. But was it really an empire? The HRE is notorious for being fractured and weak, but it was not always so. From Otto I to Frederick II (936-1250) it was a powerful and mostly unified state that contended with Popes and foreign kings and expanded Western civilization into the wild East. Join Gregory Conte and William as we discuss the legacy of this forgotten chapter of European history.

Prussian Socialism Episode 3: Clausewitz's Philosophy of War and Politics

RSS feed

Carl von Clausewitz 1780-1831 was a Prussian Army officer and theorist. In his book Vom Kriege (On War) he develops his philosophy of conflict, according to which war is "an act of violence to compel the enemy to accomplish our will". He is perhaps best known for the formulation that "war is a mere continuation of politics by other means".

In this episode Gregory Conte and William explore the implications of Vom Kriege. What are the proper roles of theory, training and planning in war? How do Clausewitz's precepts apply outside of armed conflict?

We begin our discussion with the chapters on the importance of boldness and genius and work our way back to Clausewitz's ground assumptions. Along the way we apply his thought to the actions of Napoleon, Hannibal, Hitler and current day Russia.

Adolf Hitler's strategic decisions have often been criticized, and even ridiculed, as tactical mistakes or even acts of insanity. But most of this criticism is unsound. Hitler had a far-seeing and clear-eyed picture of world-politics. He understood Germany's place in history and what realistic options it had to secure its future--and the future of Europe. With this in mind, we can fairly assess many of his most controversial decisions.

Gregory Conte and Warren Balogh discuss the Third Reich's foreign policy and the book Hitler: A Global Biography by Brendan Simms.

RSS feed

Who started World War I? Was it the Serbs? The Austrians? The French? According to German war-hero Otto Ernst Remer, it was the Jews and their stooges in the international elite who instigated the bloody, civilization-wrecking conflict. Greg and William review and discuss Remer's book Kriegshetze gegen Deutschland.

About the Show: "Prussian Socialism" will cover the great men and ideas of European history and culture from a National Socialist perspective. The emphasis will be on Germany in the world wars, but we will talk about a wide range of topics from ancient times to the present.

The purpose of the show is to reframe Western history. What events and ideas really matter? What leaders and heroes should the Americans and Europeans of today admire? Could it have all turned out another way?

Sure, the race is real and the Jews are powerful. Yes, the Holocaust is a dumb lie. But what else is there to know? So much more. Our conclusions are sure to shock all but the most hardened NatSocs.

Our first episode discusses the causes of WWI. We base our discussion on Otto Ernst Remer's untranslated "Kriegshetze gegen Deutschland" (War-mongering against Germany). Remer was a Wehrmacht general and life-long National Socialist. He is most famous for crushing the 20 July '44 coup-attempt.

In future episodes, we will talk about Hitler's foreign policy, Kalergi's Paneuropa movement, and Clausewitz's philosophy. And that's just the beginning.

The show is hosted by Gregory Conte.

Books mentioned in Episode 1:

Otto Remer Kriegshetze gegen Deutschland (German only)

Sidney Fay. The Origins of the World War vol 1, vol 2

Harry Elmer Barnes. The Genesis of the World War

Christopher Clark. The Sleepwalkers How Europe Went to War in 1914

Alexander Watson. Ring of Steel (second-rate)
