This week on the Poz Button, Borzoi decides it's absolutely imperative to spend three hours dissecting the most antisemitic movie since Triumph of the Will: 2011's fashwave classic, Drive. We also break new ground by doing two segments, the first with Slug2_ of This Hour Has 88 Minutes and OzzyOi from Twitter, and the second part with Hans Lander of Myth of the 20th Century.

Hardly anyone has seems to be aware of this fine movie , maybe because it gleefully inverts all the hollywood anti-White propaganda checklists :

The Strong White Male (Bean) does not give a fuck about PC issues ,
is strong, dangerous, focused, determined , disciplined and ruthless .
He shows up the “nice guy suburban American male ” to be cucked ,
cunt-struck , neutered.

As a result, his woman appears to to find Alpha Man sexually attractive and sees more clearly her husbands weaknesses.

There also seems to be a theme of consumerism , does this couple really need a house this big – and all these material things – to be happy ?

Anyway , it’s a better-than-average flick , refreshingly free of black judges , negro inventors , rapping hip-hop philosophers , and jewish nice-guys.

Great point about the scorpion on his back. As a Scorpio I always used that as a way to relate to The Driver, but this is a much more interesting insight in that he’s the frog carrying the scorpion on his back.

You guys clearly ain’t done your research, which is fine if you’re just looking at the film, but your also discussing Refn and possible intentions of his, which makes your lack of research negligible…for instance Hans says Refn grew up in Denmark and a cultural shock must have happened upon coming to LA, yet he moved to New York at 8 and went back to Denmark at 17 and he also is aware that Denmark is demographically changing and that non-Whites gravitate to crime (see his Pusher trilogy), he also attempted to find an Irina but could find no suitable chica, so there is no interracial intent with Irene. I found myself writing throughout to give my thoughts and correct/differ with you guys e.g. you dealing with the Driver as a literal guy and not a mythical hero, the movie is a fairy tale rooted in reality (to be fair I wrote that on the first segment, Lars acknowledges the fairy tale aspect, 2nd segment was overall far superior), e.g. calling the Driver literally autistic, yet ironically being too literal here is being “autistic”…yet I won’t post all I wrote, seems pointless to do do on a comment section. Finally heard this podcast, and it is one of the best POZ buttons yet. I was great that you spent the time on it that it deserves, and had two sets of guests.Like most listeners I listen to podcasts while doing routine tasks, working out, and so forth so making them three hours long is not an issue .
BTW, earlier this year my wife took me to see La La Land. Two things got me through that bit of Female Fantasy Fluff:
1. Imagining that this was a sequel to Drive in which The Driver started a new life as a red-pilled jazz musician who privately refers to himself as “Jazzhands”.
2. Noticing that Ryan Gosling’s eyes are a little too close-set and Emma Stone’s are a little too far apart. Therefore, they make many movies together because if you average their eye-spacing together it comes out just right.
