Today’s article comes from The Orthosphere:

Here’s the headline version of the relevant story: a Catholic high school hires a vice-principal who is (whether known or not to the school) a practicing homosexual. As part of the terms of his employment, he signs a contract obligating him to publicly abide by the teachings of the Church. At some point later on, he “marries” his boyfriend, a public repudiation of those teachings that earn him the termination of his employment — whereupon the Catholic students at the school rebel.

Trigger warning: Modernity, Seattle, Progress, Chicken Sandwich
The modern world turns Catholic school children into social justice warriors.  These children, most of them appearing close to driving age, are so divorced from the faith that they are actively working against it.

Orthosphere’s “Proph” approaches this issue gently.  Ain’t nobody got time fo’ dat on TRS.

Fact is, the faith has never failed to provide the answer on this issue; the “faithful” have failed to learn it.  They have failed profoundly.

What does this abominable display say of the school, of the families, of the Archdiocese of Seattle? It says very little, indeed.  It says that people who represent the ideals of faith and community don’t give much of a damn about such things.  It says that the TV executive and fedora-wearing antichrist on youtube has more interest in the development of children than the parent, teacher or priest.

It says that the corpus on the cross has been forgotten.

The dialogue of those who remain faithful needs to change, and soon.  The vast majority of the upcoming generation are drifting away, have fallen away, and the current spin on EWTN isn’t cutting it…  Is working against the faith, in fact.  Mimicking the saccharine tone of modernity only makes their narrative seem the more genuine.  You cannot serve both God and modernity.

Neither can anyone avoid the corruption when it is but a click away; the filth is inescapable.  I would be surprised if any man or woman today merits a saintly reward, so prevalent is the narrative.

Yes, there is no polite way to say you do not, can not agree with homosexual marriage, carnality or abortion.  As you will soon learn, those who practice these disgusting and damnable lifestyles have spent their ample leisure time inventing innumerable methods for reducing your expression of faith to privilege and oppression.

They have also spent a lot of time worshiping their self in place of almighty God; when you challenge them you challenge their false idol.  This of course means that when Catholics try and accommodate the twisted desires of these lost souls they are in effect supporting a false god.  Yeah, oops.

You also will learn as I have that modern man follows a simple correlative statistic: the more vile their lifestyle, the thinner their skin.  Expect rage, expect hatred.

Unfortunately this conflict can no longer be avoided.  You cannot continue saying and doing nothing; faith alone against the narrative will be interpreted as tacit support.  When Catholics leave things to faith alone you see “Catholic” school children supporting the sodomites over their own faith.

You must work to keep your friends and family from drifting further away from God and towards this madness and desolation.  You can no longer rely on your school or your church to do this for you.  You must set yourself at variance from the world, you must speak out, you must fight back.

I will end this article by filling in the blank on the sign above, by offering Christ’s own recorded answer on gay marriage:

He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake, and for the sake of the gospel, will save it. For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life? Indeed, what can they give in return for their life? Those who are ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of them the Son of Man will also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”
