"I'm defective": an argument against homosexual behavior

(1) It’s immoral to engage in self-destructive behavior
(2) Adopting a homosexual lifestyle is an example of self-destructive behavior
(3) Therefore, it follows that homosexual lifestyles are immoral

Homosexuals have a penchant for extremely bizarre rates of promiscuity. It’s rampant within the community. Seventy-five percent of homosexual men have more than 100 sexual partners during their lifetime, with more than half of the partners of the 75% of faggots being strangers (don’t re-report this incorrectly. It’s half of the 75%. Source: Homosexualities, pp. 208-9, table 7.). The sort of fidelity demanded by marriage cannot possibly be satisfied by homosexuals, except for statistical outliers—and to say outlier is almost an understatement. For example, only 8 percent of homosexual men have any sort of relationship lasting longer than 3 years. (“This number is not reported by Saghir and Robins (Male and Female Homosexuality) but is derived from the numbers in tables 4.10, 4.14, 12.7, and 12.11.”). On the same question, lesbians are even lower at a rate of 7 percent. Faithlessness is the only sort of experience the vast, vast majority of homosexuals will ever experience. And they know it. And yet, they advocate for gay marriage—to strengthen marriage, so it goes. Poppycock. Look at the data. You’d have to be utterly delusional. Is it that much of a surprise that the mentally ill give mentally ill arguments? There are other reasons—better reasons to explain the phenomenon of gay marriage advocacy.

They either want the destruction of marriage as a whole, or they want to subdue that unconscious prodding in their minds that’s saying: I’m not normal, I’m defective, and so I need to find ways to signal that I’m normal, and marriage is the key signaler. It’s the ultimate slight to a healthy and normal sexuality. Deviance always wants to bring down normalcy.

-Homosexuals are three times more likely than the general population to be ‘problem drinkers’. For instance, 47% of male homosexuals are or have been alcohol abusers, with 51% having drug abuse problems (“Williams et al., ‘Multidisciplinary Baseline Assessment,’ p. 127, table 2; P.H. Rosenberger et al., ‘Psychopathology in Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection: Lifetime and Current Assessment,’ Comprehensive Psychiatry 34 (May/June 1993): 153, table 1; 154, table 2. It should be noted that none of the subjects were referred to the study because of psychiatric difficulties (p. 151)).

-There’s a correlation between number of partners and drugs consumed

-40% of homosexual man have a history of major depression, as compared to the rate of 3% of the male population as a whole. (“Williams et al., ‘Multidisciplinary Baseline Assessment,” p. 127, table 2; Rosenberger et al.,’Psychopathology,’ p. 153, table 1; 154, table 2. Rosenberger et al. found that 45 percent had a history of both affective (depression, etc.) and substance use disorders.” ). For lesbians, the rate is a similar 37% (Ryan & Bradford, “National Lesbian Health Care Survey,” p. 550.).

-Homosexuals are much more likely to attempt suicide: for males, six times the rate of normal men. For females, twice as often. (“Bell and Weinberg [in Homosexualities] found that 35 percent of male homosexuals had seriously considered or attempted suicide (compared to 11 percent of male heterosexuals), and 31 percent of female homosexuals had seriously considered or attempted suicide (compared to 24 percent of female heterosexuals). Jay and Young [in The Gay Report] reported the 40 percent of male homosexuals and 39 percent of female homosexuals had either seriously contemplated or attempted suicide.”).

-Despite the fact that only 2% of adult males are homosexual, 35% of pedophiles are homosexual. (“Pedophilia and Heterosexuality vs. Homosexuality” by Freund and Watson in Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy 10 (Fall 1984) page 197 and also “Homosexual Molestation of Children: Sexual Interaction of Teacher and Pupil,” Psychological Reports 57 (1985) pages 27-36).

-Seventy-five percent of homosexual men carry at least one STD, fully apart from the rate of AIDS. That’s called ‘walking biohazard’. This statistic alone ought to forever bar the ‘debate’ of whether or not homosexuals should be allowed to donate blood. Even here, I doubt ‘for the children’ arguments will work—that’s a sorry indication of how obsessed folks are with faggots.

That’s not, of course, to mention the physical damage that results from sticking your dick in another man: ulcers, ruptures, chronic incontinence, diarrhea, and prostate damage.

Sounds super healthy, diverse, and free.

Or not. The life expectancy of a homosexual male is about 45 years old. Read that again. For normal men, the regular life expectancy is about 70 years.

Now let’s go a little further: what happens if we include homosexual men who die of AIDS? The stat of 45 years life expectancy drops to an earth-shaking 39 years. Thirty-nine.

So you’ve looked at the data. I’ve provided citations for most of it. Correlation doesn’t necessarily imply causation. I know this. And the drug abuse, suicides, depressions, etc. could all be from societally imposed ‘homofags are wrong and deviant’ stereotypes. But if insults alone are the cause of the high suicide rate among homosexuals, then that’s proof that they really are weak and faggy. Would you expect to see these same statistics with other historically reviled groups? Try and match any of these data points onto the Jews. You’re not going to be able to. Moreover, as another counterargument, the data I’ve presented here tends to hold up quite strongly in other countries with high rates of tolerance for homosexuality.

I think this effectively provides more plausible reasons to support premise (2) than its negation. I don’t really know many ethical systems that would deny (1), so I’ll leave the defense of that for another time, but now taking (1) and (2) together, it necessarily follows that homosexual behavior is immoral.

There you go: a philosophical/statistical argument to justify your formerly baseless and visceral reactions. They were right, of course, but healthy, common sense intuition still needs the firepower to chase out bad philosophy. That’s what good philosophy is for.
